Our film targets teenage girls in high school. This film is videoed in a high end mall with many upper class stores. We plan to have this movie available throughout the United States and many English speaking countries. These days, teenage girls love going to the mall with friends, shopping and having sleepovers, so they would have an interest in watching this film. Our target audience is limited to teenage girls and not boys because of the content of the film such as having a male stalker, sleeping over, as shopping together at the mall. I believe this film is targeted to the younger population because of our dialogue and horror movie scenes. These scenes relate to the everyday lives of teenage girls and make it easy to follow. I think our audience will be drawn in with the scenes of the stalker leading up to him confronting Lily at the car. This will keep them on the edge of their seats and anticipating what’s to come next. Additionally, our audience will love the opening scene at the mall because it is relatable to their lives and it is decorated beautifully for the holidays.
For our quarter three submission we revised some parts of our film. We re-shot the beginning of our film to slow down the pace of the film. We also added new fonts and coloring in the beginning of our film for our names and opening title, to have special effects and make it more personal. Our original titles were red and had no effect, so this time we added a pop-in special effect for "Girl's Night" title to create a theme for the film. Additionally, we added incidental music at the end of our film to create suspense and mystery. All these revisions were made to add a sense of reality and more suspense throughout our film. Throughout this new submission I learned how to edit sound and put it in the film, how to add special effects to titles, and how to work with PremierePro at a higher level.
